Warlord is the story of a man who had his world turned upside down when a crippling accident preceded an attack on his farmstead by Imperial Soldiers from a nearby empire. It's a classic revenge story where the MC is forced to make difficult decisions that transform who he is.
Warlord takes place in the same world as Tragedy of Medusa and Euryale's Gambit but is not directly connected. If you have played the other games, you'll find familiar world mechanics, but playing these other titles is not necessary.

Game Mechanics:
During the game, the player will be presented with a number of choices. Some choices allow the game to continue while others can lead to a "game over". Other choices can increase the MC's affinity to either lust energy or chaos energy. Lust energy affinity will enable more "sexy" choices and outcomes later in the game while chaos energy affinity will lead to more violent outcomes. Too much of either will close off alternate choices.

Thanks it's because I'd feel bad otherwise (The only other ending I got by trying to save them instead of listening to their voices, and I quickly loaded my autosave afterwards.)

hello so my game opens up to the main screen however after like 5 seconds it closes there is no background picture in the main menu but i can see the options but it closes the app before i can click anything im on chromebook is there any info on this

it is a Chromebook by Samsung and yes other renpy games work

If it's Samsung, is it ARM-based? It could be that the nightly build of renpy that Warlord uses does not support ARM well. I will push an update with a release version of renpy soon.
EDIT: It looks like there's a separate ARM sdk for renpy. That sucks. It means that I need a separate build just for ARM if I want to support it. How do other renpy games work on that system? Are you using the ARM build?
yes I believe it is and most other renpy games do load however sometimes when they are open they sometimes have these like old TV effect like black lines flash on the screen while I'm playing them but they almost never do what this game is doing and if you could find a way to make a build to fix this problem that would be amazing.

i've only played through once, so keep that in mind. I can honestly say, the whole taboo "keeping it in the family".... interesting, but noy my kink. That being said, and after finding a handful of endings, I think I found a game that is worth finding the rest of the endings. This would be one of a very SHORT list, that I'd be willing to play again. Usually its months or years before I forget, then do a replay. Won't be the case with this one, congrats on getting only my 2nd or 3rd review in years, and well done Dev!
Before I download the game or anything what kind of incest is being mentioned and is it optional?
I believe the brother/sister incest is optional. There are some scenes with Aunt that are not.
Not to keen on the Aunt stuff but if the sibling stuff can be avoided I'll give it a shot.
Excellent choice. I'm told the story is pretty good. Also, you can always edit game/rels.rpy with whatever relationships you want if it suits you. The patreon version already does this.
Great game, the only regret is that there is no sexual scene with Eisheth. I mean, maintaining her original appearance.

Wow really ruined it with NTR huh?
There is no NTR is the game here on itch. I understand that some players don't like NTR. This is why it is not added to any public version of the game and why it's only a hidden extra for those that do want the feature. Know that the feature also has no impact on the story of the game.
I know you recently modified your rating and because you and others rated a feature that isn't in the version here in itch, I disabled ratings. I do not think it is helpful for potential players to highlight (positively or negatively) a feature that they will never experience.
is their futanari in this game, just started and saw a futanari/shemale tag on another website then found my way here and was wondering if the mc can shapeshift into a futa or not or is a futa one of the targets later on in the story. i love futa so that is why im asking.

Digital penises can't hurt you, and they won't make yours look tinier by comparison. Going around harassing independent game developers to offset your insecurity, on the other hand, makes everyone think that even more than if you revved the engine of your raised truck around town with vape smoke pouring out the window while the back rattles with all your crushed monster energy cans.
I can only assume the hardcore anti-NTR crowd have to be struggling with insecurity and related personal issues. I'm not a big fan of NTR either but it usually doesn't bother me enough to kick up a fuss about it. If it's something that's optional and avoidable? It shouldn't be an issue for people at all... but obviously it is.
The backgrounds outside of animated scenes, is the A.I. art a placeholder while the art for launch is being made?
The "in-between" images (as I like to call them) have been evolving over time, but at this point there are no plans to replace them with traditional renders.
If I may press the matter, simply and strictly for the sake of conversation, is it a matter of funding or does A.I. work more towards your final image?
It was a design choice from the beginning. Warlord began as an experiment to speed-up development and lower cost. This method allowed me to work about 4 times faster and work on two games at once. For comparison, my first game took 1.5 years to complete. Warlord is longer with more animations and will likely be complete in 9 months.
I probably won't use the same exact technique in any future title, but I've learned a lot that should make the next titles better.
Interesting response. I can see why the want for a shorter dev time is appealing. Do you think that some might find it detracts from the overall experience? As for tour second project I look forward to it.
I'm certain there is a trade-off of image continuity. I think most of the backgrounds are okay and the others are getting better as I slowly replace them (the "evolution" I was referring to), but its not there yet.
Warlord might be more popular if it was done a bit differently, but it wouldn't have existed at all with the AI tools to help. I was already working on Tragedy of Medusa at the time and could only really spare a day or two a week for experimenting on anything else.
That said, Warlord is my most popular title this year and is trending to become the most popular of my games overall (overtaking Euryale's Gambit probably next year). I attribute it's relative popularity to its genre (male-protagonist), but story may also play a role? At any rate, its' hard to tell how much using AI as much as I do hurts the project if at all. It also happens to be my highest-rated title :shrug:.

The saves files are usually outside of the game on PC anyway. I'm not certain about android.

i know its late for this but if you are on pc all you have to do is save your persistent file somewhere and then just add it to the new download saves

I wished this game had more option. I wish we could have fun with the goddess sense she is weak before slaying her, I wish there's more primal out control lust choice and I don't really understand why it's call warlord I feel more like an adventurer than a warlord.

The chapters are very short. Will they be longer in future updates?
As of now, the plan is to keep the chapters the same length with monthly releases. Warlord's relative priority could change though and all indications so far are that it will.
